Your hosts John and Narelle Hardy welcome you to an exclusive mountain retreat. The original fully renovated, four bedroom dairy farm cottage combines modern amenities with period restored antique furnishings. Our cottage offers two queen size bedrooms and two single bedrooms, a large family room, sunroom with breakfast nook, a large lounge with a wood-fired slow combustion heater for your comfort and a fully self-contained country kitchen. All rooms have country vistas of green hills, grazing cattle and antiquated dairy sheds, all part of our 350 acre family farm at Evelyn Central in North Queensland. A ten minute walk or a two minute drive gets you to our secluded 35 acre rainforest haven with a 70 foot waterfall, shady creeks and pools and abundant wildlife including tree-climbing kangaroos, possums, birds and platypus families.

To ensure guest privacy, the cottage is serviced once only during a 7-night stay.

2-night min. stay on weekends.

How To Get There

From Cairns travel the Kennedy Highway via Kuranda and Mareeba to Atherton. Enjoy the sights of Atherton, then continue on the Kennedy Highway from Atherton towards Ravenshoe. THE OLD DAIRY B n B is on the left approximately 35klms from Atherton at RURAL NUMBER 11599 KENNEDY HIGHWAY EVELYN CENTRAL. If travelling from Savannnahland/Undara Lava Tubes, stay on the Kennedy Highway and The OLD DAIRY B n B is 16 klms on the right past Ravenshoe.
